We found and placed a letterbox on the South Island of New Zealand a
couple years ago. It was great! That's my only international
letterboxing experience, thus far.

Ok now for the opportunity for those in the know to yell at us, I 'm sure that this has been asked before! Where the heck is the link to International Letterboxes? I tied the link on the map page and that one doesn't work, and I went to the links pages, found Letterboxes International. I could buy a real letterbox there and that link should probably be removed so not to confuse folks. We are heading off to Sweden and wondered if there might be any letterboxes in the neighborhood. Gwen & I have already berated ourselves for 20 minutes so that the punishment for this possible redundant post has already been applied.

Don,
I did a work around by doing a Search All Boxes and scrolled through
the list. I did not see any for Sweden, with the closest being in
Germany. I tried Google to no avail. Sorry I couldn't help more.

Did find some links on Silent Doug's site that you could probably
e-mail the site owner and perhaps get further assistance. There were a
couple in Norway on the urban lbox site.
Sorry for the double post, poor kitty.

Mark,
Thanks we will check out the sites listed. At first glance it looks
like we will have the first planted letterboxes in Sweden.

Mmm - I'm not sure on that. Check out this link:

Not exactly the most informative, but I think there might be some others there!

International Letterboxes

The link to International letterboxes on the map page seems to be broken. We recently posted 3 letterboxes in Sweden and used "Sweden" in the titles. This allows them to be pulled up by going to LBNA Search for boxes and typing in "Sweden" in the Word/phrase in box name. Google has them listed also, but that link goes to What's New, but hopefully that may change. If you are planning on planting a letterbox out of the country you might want to use the country's name in the title.
